Week Four: Nothingness. An attempt at Poetry

“Something and then nothing..
Everything becomes something

Forever turns into today..
One day almost seems like forever

Struggles and organized chaos..
Life is full of struggles

Gratefulness is a blessing..
Daily showers of gratefulness.

Hope and love beaming in the horizon..
An answered prayer of hope and love”

Buried neck deep in my new role as a travel nurse, I am now fully adjusted at the place where I work. I love learning new things and discovering little quirks and nuances of being a nurse in a different setting. At the same time, I have uncovered so many things about me and about life in general while on this assignment. It has only been four weeks but the wealth of knowledge and understanding and valuable life lessons that has either creeped up slowly or unceremoniously all dropped into my lap so to speak are something that will stay with me forever.

Let’s see what Week Five will bring…
